New Dies
Did you know that on the 4th February you can order some limited time dies to co-ordinate with some of the stamp sets in the Sale-A-Bration and 2020 Handmade For You Mini Catalogue? Woohoo. You can see what’s available by downloading the PDF here. As a demonstrator we were able to purchase these dies early and my first pick was the Birthday Dies which co-ordinate with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set which is in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. So this first card is rather simple but it does show off two of the dies from the Happy Birthday Dies. 
I embossed Flirty Flamingo card using the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Thick Whisper White card. I cut Whisper White card using the largest stitched scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped the birthday cake from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Flirty Flamingo ink.
I coloured the image using Light Smoky Slate, Light Old Olive Dark Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image using the co-ordinating Birthday Die. I also cut Flirty Flamingo card using the cake stand die from the Birthday Dies. I trimmed down the stamped image and attached the die cut cake stand before attaching the whole piece to the Whisper White stitched scalloped rectangle. The whole panel is attached to the card front.
To decorate the inside of the card I stamped two of the greetings from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set onto Whisper White card using Flirty Flamingo ink.
Simple, but I love the extra dimension you get when an image is cut out and attached to the card rather than just stamped, don’t you?
