Jenny’s Class

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a class conducted by my friend and downline Jenny Habraken. What an amazing class. We were all required to purchase a pack of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and to bring our paper trimmer.
We made four projects over a couple of hours, the first one was to cover a small notepad. A really cute project and such a great one to gift (as Jenny suggested) to a new co-worker or perhaps a new Mum you just met at school.
Our second project was an easel style card which holds a pen, calendar and post-it-notes. Jenny supplied the calender, post-it-notes and the pen! This project is perfect for beside the phone or on your desk.
Our third project was a perpetual birthday calendar book. We created a place to add our cards with a calendar for each month so we don’t miss one. We also created pockets for the inside of the front and back covers. I think this one turned out really well. Jenny went to a lot of trouble to make sure that we had all the elements we needed to create this project without adding too much bulk AND she had the best book binder I have ever seen to put all of our pages together.
Our last project was a perpetual bookmark style calendar which has a magnetic strip so it can be attached to the fridge for easy access. You add the current month to the plastic bookmark sleeve to go on the fridge and keep the remainder of the months tied together for safe keeping.
Jenny had packets for each of us with everything we need to create our projects already pre-cut, printed and even stamped if necessary.
While we completed all our projects for our first class using the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, Jenny has more classes planned to use up the rest of the Designer Series Paper and to incorporate the co-ordinating stamp sets and dies. If you would like to attend one of Jenny’s amazing classes, visit her Facebook page to contact her.
Thanks Jenny and all the lovely ladies for a great afternoon.
Bye for now,
Kris

It was a lovely class Vicky. It’s nice to attend a class where someone else does all the hard work and you just get to enjoy.
