Scrappy Pieces

March 29, 2021

Today I am sharing some cards I made using the pieces left over from the cards I made in this post. I embossed Very Vanilla card using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and attached the embossed panels to scored and folded Basic Black card. I cut Basic Black card using one of the Ornate Layers Dies (I love these dies). I used the co-ordinating Ornate Layers Dies to cut the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper into small narrow rectangles which I attached to the Basic Black die cut.

The die cut panels are attached to the left hand side of the card front. I cut Very Vanilla and Basic Black card using the circles from the Layering Circles Dies. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto the Very Vanilla circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

The greeting is attached to the Basic Black circle and then the card front. I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set onto So Saffron card using Calypso Coral ink. I cut out the butterflies using the co-ordinating Brilliant Wings Die. I curled the wings on one large butterfly and attached it to the card front using dimensionals under the wings and glue dots in the centre of the body. I attached Basic Pearls to the butterfly body. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and attached a smaller die cut butterfly.

I created two cards using Calypso Coral ink on So Saffron card and two cards using Magenta Madness ink on Blushing Bride card.

Don’t they look pretty!

Bye for now,

Kris
