Sarah & Elyssa

Today’s page showcases a photo of my eldest daughter Sarah and her baby girl Elyssa found in the box on my shelf (I am slowly working my way through it!). I love how happy they look in this photo and decided to keep my page very simple. I attached a 6″ wide strip of the beautiful Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper across the top of a Basic White 12″ x 12″ page. I coloured a length of Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon using the Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blend and attached it to cover the edge of the Designer Series Paper.

I attached my photo to Basic Black card and then the page. I stamped the stem image from the Art Gallery stamp set onto Basic White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I stamped the large solid flower from the Art Gallery stamp set onto Basic White card using Flirty Flamingo ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I stamped the large detailed stamp over the top using Flirty Flamingo ink. I cut out the stem and flower using the co-ordinating Floral Gallery Dies and attached them to the lower left hand side of the page. I cut the title from Basic Black card using the Playful Alphabet Dies. I added the year just below the photo using a Journaling Pen.
So simple but I think it leaves the photo to be the focal point of interest on the page, don’t you.
Bye for now,
Kris
