Floral Vibes
Today’s card uses the Island Vibes stamp set which you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order. I have paired it with the Special Moments stamp set which is also FREE during Sale-A-Bration with a qualifying order. To begin I stamped the greeting from the Special Moments stamp set onto the lower right hand corner of Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I attached a strip of Shaded Spruce card on the diagonal across the stamped Basic White card before embossing using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. The panel is attached to scored and folded Smoky Slate card.
I embossed a piece of Cajun Craze card using the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to the top left hand corner of the Basic White panel using dimensionals. I inked the floral image from the Island Vibes stamp set using a Cajun Craze and a Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Marker before stamping onto Basic White card.
I masked the image with a post-it-note circle and sponged Smoky Slate ink around the image. I removed the mask and attached the image panel to Smoky Slate card and then the card front using dimensionals where necessary so that it sits partially over the Cajun Craze card. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the Special Moments stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I embossed a narrow strip of Shaded Spruce card using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it across the bottom of the stamped Basic White panel.
I am very happy with the way this card turned out. I hope you like it too.
