Sunshine Birthday
Today’s card again uses the Catching Butterflies stamp set which is FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. For this card, I cut out three clouds from the Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Series Paper (also free during Sale-a-bration) and attached them to a Basic White panel. I inked the girl image from the Catching Butterflies stamp set without adding ink to the net and stamped it below the clouds. I coloured the image using Magenta Madness, Ivory & Bronze Stampin’ Blends. I punched Magenta Madness, Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride card using the retired Balloon Builder Punch.
I cut out the panel using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I hand drew a string using Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker and attached the balloons to the stamped panel using dimensionals under the Magenta Madness balloon. The panel is attached it to a Magenta Madness rectangle cut using a slightly larger Stitched Rectangle Die. The panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card using dimensionals.
I stamped “happy birthday” from the Peaceful Moments stamp set onto Basic White card using Magenta Madness ink. The greeting is punched out using the Double Oval Punch. I attached the greeting to a scalloped oval punched from Maganeta Madness card using the same punch. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set using Magenta Magness ink.
