Arty Birthday

Today I am sharing a card I made recently for a friend. I attached a piece of Fresh Freesia card to the bottom of Basic White card before embossing the panel using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I attached the embossed panel to the left hand side of Smoky Slate card. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I stamped the leaf image from the Art Gallery stamp set onto Basic White card using Evening Evergreen ink and cut it out using the co-ordinating Floral Gallery Die.

I stamped the large single flower onto Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink and cut it out using the co-ordinating Floral Gallery Die. I attached the leaf image flat to the card front and the flower using dimensionals. I added three Basic Pearls to the centre of the flower. I stamped the “happy birthday” from the Art Gallery stamp set onto Basic White card using Evening Evergreen ink.

I cut out the greeting using the large label die from the Floral Gallery Dies. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I embossed a narrow strip of Fresh Freesia card using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a narrow strip of Smoky Slate card behind one long edge before attaching the panel to the bottom of Basic White card. I stamped the smaller single flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set above the embossed card using Fresh Freesia ink. I hope that lovely lady that received this loved it as much as I do.
Bye for now,
Kris
