Artful Birthday

Today’s cards use the beautiful Artistically Inked stamp set and co-ordinating Artistic Dies. I began by stamping the greeting from the Artistically Inked stamp set onto two pieces of Basic White card using Polished Pink ink on one and Fresh Freesia ink on the other. I embossed the stamped Basic White card using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder before attaching the panels to the co-ordinating colour card base. I cut Basic White card twice using the Fabulous Frames Dies and attached one to each card front using mini dimensionals. I stamped the large flower from the Artistically Inked stamp set twice onto Basic White card using Polished Pink ink.

I stamped the smaller flower four times onto Basic White card using Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped the double leaf image six times onto Basic White card using Soft Succulent ink. I also stamped the very small flower twice onto Basic White card using Daffodil Delight ink. All of these images were cut out using the co-ordinating Artistic Die. I layered one large flower, two smaller ones and three sets of leaves onto each card front using dimensionals where necessary.

I added the small Daffodil Delight flowers to the centre of the large Polished Pink flowers. For the final touch I added three Basic Rhinestones to each card. To decorate the inside of each card, I stamped the greeting from the Peaceful Moments stamp set twice onto Basic White card, once using Polished Pink ink and once using Fresh Freesia ink. I also stamped the large flower from the Artistically Inked stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of each Basic White panel using Polished Pink ink on one and Fresh Freesia ink on the other. I masked the flowers with a post-it-note mask and stamped the double leaf image twice around each flower using Soft Succulent ink. To finish the large flowers I stamped the very small flower onto the centre of each one using the co-ordinating ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first.

I am very happy with the way these cards have turned out and I love the texture on the gorgeous frame. I have a couple of special ladies in mind for these cards and I hope they love them too.
Bye for now,
Kris
