Nothing Fancy

January 31, 2023

Today I am sharing another card I made using the Fancy Flora Collection from the current Mini Catalogue. For this card I cut a piece of the Fancy Flora 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and attached it to a panel of Soft Succulent Fine Shimmer 12″ x 12″ Paper. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I cut Basic White card using the largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies. I cut Soft Succulent card using the largest scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Dies. I stamped a greeting from the Something Fancy stamp set onto the Basic White circle using Soft Succulent ink.

I attached the stamped circle to the scalloped circle and then the card front. I stamped one of the solid flowers from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set onto Basic White card twice using Daffodil Delight ink. I stamped the detailed flower image from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set over the top of the solid images using Calypso Coral ink. I also stamped the leaf image from the Two-Tone Flora stamp set onto Basic White card using Soft Succulent ink.

The flowers and leaf were cut out using the co-ordinating Two-Tone Flora Dies. I attached one flower and the leaf image flat onto the stamped circle. I attached the second flower using dimensionals. To finish off the card front I added three of the Gold Iridescent Pastel Gems around the greeting. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the Something Fancy stamp set onto Basic White card using Soft Succulent ink. I attached a strip of Soft Succulent Fine Shimmer Paper behind one long edge of a strip of Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper panel is attached across the bottom of the stamped Basic White card.

I really am loving this very beautiful Fancy Flora Collection and I hope you are too.

Bye for now,

Kris
