Shelly Birthday
Today I have another card I created using the Shell Collecting stamp set. For this card, I used lots of stamps and lots of colours to add the images to the Basic White panel. The large shells are stamped in Pecan Pie with the solid image stamped onto scrap paper first. The blue shells are stamped in Balmy Blue with the solid image stamped onto scrap paper first.
The star fish are stamped in Smoky Slate with the solid image stamped onto scrap paper first. The small dark brown shell is stamped with Crumb Cake in for the solid image and Early Espresso for the detailed image. The round shell is also stamped in Smoky Slate ink with the solid image stamped off first.
The greeting from the Fabulous Sayings stamp set is stamped onto the Basic White panel using Early Espresso ink. I attached the stamped panel to Early Espresso card before attaching the whole panel to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. To decorate the inside of the card, I once more stamped some of the same images from the card front using the same inks. I am absolutely loving this stamp set. Some of the images you stamp in reverse, so the back is the solid image the front is the detailed image. For some images like the large shell you stamp the solid image with the other large shell so that the images fit exactly. So cool. What about you? Have you used this stamp set? If so, do you love it?
