Baby Congratulations
Those of you who know me well will know that my Mum is in a Nursing Home and has Dementia. One of the things that she still loves to do is knit, so she knits squares and I have been turning them into small blankets for her to give to her great grandchildren when they become parents. So today I am sharing the cards I created for her to write in to give with the blankets. I embossed Basic White card using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
I attached the embossed panels to the front of a Basic White Note card. I die cut one of the papers from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers using the onsie die and the rattle die from the Cutest Onsie Dies. I also cut two different patterns from the 2025-2027 Incolour 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper using the same dies from the Cutest Onsie Dies.
I stamped the heart from the Cutest Onsie stamp set onto each of the onsies using Smoky Slate ink. I attached the onsies to the front of the Note Card using dimensionals. I stamped congratulations from the Cutest Onsie stamp set onto Basic White card 15 times using Smoky Slate ink and cut them out using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I trimmed the right hand edge and attached the greetings to the front of the Note Cards using dimensionals where necessary. I created the journaling for the inside of each of the Note Cards on my computer and attached the die cut rattle beside the greeting. All I have to do now is try and get Mum to sign each one.
