Blue Balloon Birthday
This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Balloon Festoon Bundle. This Bundle is part of the release with the next catalogue in May, but Stampin’ Up! have told us that this bundle will be around for at least a year. Yay! I began by cutting a template using one of the Balloon Festoon Dies. I used the template, a Blending Brush and one of the new In-colours – Hydrangea Blue – to create three balloons on Basic White card. I used the template to allow me to add the star image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set onto each of the blended balloons using Hydrangea Blue ink.

I stamped the string image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set onto each of the Balloons using Hydrangea Hue ink. The stamped panel is attached to scored and folded Hydrangea Blue card. I die cut Hydrangea Blue card three times using one of the balloon dies from the Balloon Festoon Dies. I stamped each of the die cut images using the dotted image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set and Hydrangea Hue ink. I also die cut three balloon strings from Hydrangea Blue card using the die from the Balloon Festoon Dies.

I attached the strings flat to the card front and the die cut balloons using dimensionals. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Balloon Festoon stamp set onto Hydrangea Hue card using Hydrangea Hue ink. I cut out the greeting using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I attached the greeting to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I used the template, a Blending Brush and Hydrangea Hue ink to create a balloon on Basic White card. I used the template to stamp the greeting and the star image from the Balloon Festoon stamp set onto the blended balloon using Hydrangea Hue ink. The stamped panel is attached to the inside of the Hydrangea Hue card base. I think I am going to love this stamp set, what about you, is it going to make it to your wish list?
Bye for now,
Kris
