Airlie Beach
For today’s layout I followed one of Noreen Smith’s 1, 2, 3 layouts. What I love about these layout’s is that I can get a double page layout from one 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper or I can follow the cutting directions and use up scraps from my retiring Designer Series Papers. You can find the layout for this on Noreen’s 1, 2, 3, Facebook Page. For this layout I used the December 2025 Product of the month – True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper. Unfortunately this paper has sold out.

After I had attached the Designer Series Paper and the horizontal photos across the bottom of each White Willow 12″‘ x 12″ page, I masked the top of the Designer Series Paper, tore a piece of copy paper and used it to mask the top of the page before using a Blending Brush to add Crumb Cake ink across the top of both pages. I removed the mask from the top of the pages and using a Blending Brush adding Balmy Blue ink across the top of both of the pages. I cut the title from Night of Navy card using the Mini Alphabet Dies and attached it to the left hand page. I inked the palm tree images from the Boardwalk Fun stamp set (Last Chance) using Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow ink and stamped them across the top of the page.

I added Night of Navy mats to the photos across the middle of the pages before attaching them. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card, but it into strips and attached it to the right hand page. I also used the Boardwalk Fun Dies (Last Chance) to cut three palm trees from Basic White card. I used the Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blend and Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker (retired) to colour the images before attaching them to the lower right hand corner of the title page. I love how this shows off my photos from our visit back in 2010.
Bye for now,
Kris
