Hydrangea Hue Birthday
Well I am still loving all the new in-colours and couldn’t resist creating another card, this time a slimline card. This time I embossed the bottom half of a piece of Hydrangea Hue card using the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. I cut Basic White card using the floral background die from the Lovely Arrangements Die and attached it to the top half of the embossed Hydrangea Hue card. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Basic White card. I stamped the large flower once and the smaller flower twice from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink. I cut out the flowers using the co-ordinating die from the Lovely Arrangements Dies.

I also die cut Peaceful Pine card using the leaf dies from the Lovely Arrangements Dies. I layered the flowers and leaves onto the card front using dimensionals under the large flower. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto Basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink.

I cut out the greeting using one of the banners from the Lovely Arrangements Dies. I attached the greeting to the card front before adding three Basic Rhinestones. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped a greeting from the Balloon Festoon stamp set (to be released on the 5th May to customers) onto Basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink. I stamped the large flower from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of the basic White card using Hydrangea Hue ink. I masked the flower and stamped the leaf image from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set on either side of the flower using Peaceful Pine ink. The panel is attached to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base. This is such a lovely colour, don’t you think?
Bye for now,
Kris
