Unbridled Birthday
I created this card for my eldest grandson to celebrate his birthday. I cut a piece of Country Woods 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and sponged the edges using Basic Gray ink before attaching it across the bottom of a Basic White panel. The whole panel is then attached to Basic Gray card. I stamped the horse image from the Unbridled Beauty stamp set (Last Chance) onto Basic White card using Basic Gray ink.
I cut out the image using the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I cut Basic Gray card using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached the image circle. The whole panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I die cut Basic Gray card using the fence die from the Sunset Coast Dies. I attached a fence die to the card front on either side of the image panel.
I stamped “happy birthday” from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat stamp set onto a narrow strip of Basic White card using Basic Gray ink. I cut a “v” in each end of the banner before attaching it to a strip of Basic Gray which I trimmed on each end to match the greeting banner. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped a greeting from the Phrases & Frames stamp set onto Basic White card using Basic Gray ink. I stamped the tree image from the Unbridled Beauty stamp set beside the greeting using Mossy Meadow ink. I stamped the horse images from the Unbridled Beauty stamp set using Basic Gray ink. I love how this card turned out and my Grandson did too.
