Sailing Birthday

Today I have my version of a fancy fold that Susan Camperfield shared on her facebook page. I followed her instructions but I decided to use A4 dimensions. So I created my card base from Thick Basic White card and it is 28.5cm x 10.5cm. I scored along the 28.5cm length at 4.5cm, 9cm, 13.5cm and 18cm.

My image panel is also cut from Thick Basic White card and is 16cm x 7.5cm, scored along the 16cm length at 8cm. I cut my patterned paper pieces from the Scenic Coast 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I did need to use three sheets to create this card. I cut the sailboat from Night of Navy card and the birds from Basic Black card.

The “happy birthday” which I stamped in Night of Navy ink comes from the Rolling Waves stamp set. I had a lot of fun creating this card and I am sure you will see me use this fancy fold again.
