Celebrating 70
Years of marriage for my Mum and Dad. Last weekend we had a party to celebrate my Mum and Dad’s 70th Wedding Anniversary and today I have two pages which share some of the photos. I cut 12 pieces of Countryside Inn 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper 6″ x 2″. I attached six pieces of Designer Series Paper down the left hand side of a Basic White 12″ x 12″ page and six pieces across the top of the second Basic White page. I attached a narrow strip of Night of Navy card along the inner edge of the Designer Series Paper. I attached the photo of my parents to Basic White card, Night of Navy card and then the left hand page. I stamped the large floral image from the Layers of Beauty stamp set twice onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the Layered with Beauty Decorative Masks, Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Granny Apple Green ink to colour the images. I used the co-ordinating Layered with Beauty Die to cut out the images. I attached one image across the bottom right hand corner of my parents photo. I stamped the title onto Basic White card using the Classic Letters stamp set and Night of Navy ink. I cut out the numbers and letters and attached them to the lower right hand corner of the first page. For the second page, I attached the photos before cutting the second floral image into several pieces and layering them onto the page. I wrote the date onto the second page using a retired Journaling Pen.

I love how these pages turned out. I do have some more photos from this event to share when I get some more pages completed.
Bye for now,
Kris

The whole panel is embossed using the Metal 3D Embossing Folder before being attached to scored and folded Smoky Slate card. I attached a piece of smoky slate paper from the Take to the Sky 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the solid car image from the Racing By stamp set onto Basic White card using Smoky Slate ink. I stamped the detailed car image from the Racing By stamp set over the top using Basic Gray ink. I also added the wheel image and the helmet image from the same stamp set using Basic Gray ink.

I stamped the greeting from the Racing By stamp set below the card image using Basic Gray ink. I attached the stamped panel to Smoky Slate card and then the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the cup image from the Racing By stamp set onto Basic White card using Basic Gray ink. I stamped “let’s celebrate” from the Simply Said stamp set below the cup using Basic Gray ink. I had so much fun creating these cards. I’d love to know what you think.

Happy Anniversary
My Mum and Dad celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary recently and today I thought I would share the card I made for them. I was inspired by one I saw on a Demonstrator only Facebook page shared by Janet Morrow Wakeland. Janet’s card was a slimline card but mine is just a standard size. I embossed Basic White card using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a piece of now retired Designer Series paper across the bottom of the embossed panel before attaching the whole panel to scored and folded Basic Black card. I die cut the large floral image from Basic Black card using the Magnolia Mood Dies.

I also die cut two small leaves using the Magnolia Mood Dies also from Basic Black card. I attached all of the die cut images to the card front. I stamped the large floral image from the Magnolia Mood stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image is cut out using the co-ordinating Magnolia Mood Die. I attached the stamped image to the card front over the die cut images using dimensionals.

I stamped “happy anniversary” from the Sweetly Scripted stamp set onto a narrow strip of Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I attached the greeting to a piece of Basic Black card before attaching the panel across the bottom of the card front. I also added some Basic Rhinestones to give a little bling. To decorate the inside of the card I attached a narrow strip of the same designer series paper across the bottom of Basic White card. I stamped the small the small floral image from the Magnolia Mood stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut it out using the co-ordinating Magnolia Mood Die. I attached the flower to the lower left hand corner of the Basic White card tucking the ends underneath the Designer Series Paper. I love this stamp set and I am so happy for the inspiration from Janet – Thank you. Mum and Dad loved it too.

Turning Fifteen
Today’s page shows off some photos from my granddaughter’s birthday celebration. I attached two large pieces of Delightful Floral 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper pieces to a Basic White 12″ x 12″ page. I attached a narrow strip of the another design from the same Designer Series Paper down the left hand side of the page. I cut two floral pieces from the Designer Series Paper and attached one to the top left and one to the lower right hand corner of the page. I cut Basic Black card using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I attach three photos to Basic Black card and attached the panel across the top of the page. Before really adhering the panel, I laid down the last photo so that I could attached the Basic Black circle partially underneath the photos. I cut Basic White card using the largest banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies and used re-positional glue to attach it over the circle. I will print my journaling onto the banner later to completely finish the page. Lastly I cut Basic Black and Basic White card using the Wanted to Say Dies to create my title, which I attached above the left hand photo. I love how gorgeous this paper is and how easy it makes my memory keeping. I would love to know what you think.

Your Invited
Today I am sharing some invitations I created for my Mum & Dad’s 70th Wedding Anniversary celebration. I must say that I used the example in the Annual Catalogue as inspiration for the design. I stamped the border image from the Chantilly Lace stamp set across the top left hand and bottom right hand corners of Basic White card using Night of Navy ink.

I stamped “Your Invited” from the same stamp set between the border images using Night of Navy ink. I attached the stamped panel to Night of Navy card and then scored and folded Thick Basic White card.

I created the invitation on my computed and printed onto Basic White card. I stamped across the bottom of the invitation using the long border image from the Chantilly Lace stamp set using Night of Navy ink. The invitation panel is attached to a layer of Night of Navy card before attaching to the inside of the card base. I made 30 of these invitations and let me say that using a Stamp Positioner (I won’t name it but the one that Stampin’ Up! used to sell) made this job so easy.
