Dickies Beach
Today’s page shows off some photos from a stay at Dickies Beach Caravan Park with our granddaughter Elyssa. I used Night of Navy card which I embossed using the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder. I can’t remember which Designer Series Paper I used for this one but it goes well with the water theme, I think. I stamped “a perfect” “day” “in the sun” from the Documenting The Day (free with a qualifying order until 28th February) stamp set onto the left hand page using Night of Navy ink. I also stamped the sun image from the same stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink.
The birds are stamped in Night of Navy ink and are from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set which is available free with a qualifying order until the 28th February. I used the retired Oceanfront stamp set to stamp some sand, sea and sky on the right hand page using Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Balmy Blue ink. I stamped the boat image from the Under the Moon stamp set using Night of Navy. The birds from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set are also stamped in Night of Navy ink. I also stamped the seashell image from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set using Crumb Cake ink. I did add a few “dots” using the image from the Oceanfront stamp set and Crumb Cake ink. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card and punched it out using the 2″ Circle Punch.
I stamped the shell image from the Friendly Seagulls stamp set below the journaling using Crumb Cake ink and attached it to a Night of Navy circle punched using the retired 2-1/4″ Circle Punch before attaching it to the right hand page. Lastly I added some Ombre Matte Decorative Dots around the stamped images. I love how much fun Elyssa is having exploring the beach.

Memorable Birthday
This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Memorable Birthday Bundle which is part of the product release in the January to April Mini Catalogue. For this card I cut a piece of Bloom Impressions 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and attached it to scored and folded Thick Basic White. This paper is available FREE with a qualifying order during Sale-A-Bration. I embossed a Basic White piece of card using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to the centre of the Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the large floral image from the Memorable Blooms stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Petunia Pop and Summer Splash Stampin’ Blends before cutting out the image using the co-ordinating Memorable Blooms Die. I attached the floral image to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Racing By stamp set onto a strip of Basic White card using Petunia Pop ink.
I attached the greeting to Summer Splash card and then the card front using dimensionals. Lastly I added three Basic Rhinestones around the floral image. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped a greeting from the So Sincere stamp set onto Basic White card using Petunia Pop ink. I attached a narrow strip of the same pattern Bloom Impressions Designer Series Paper across the bottom of the stamped card before attaching the panel to the inside of the card base. I am loving this beautiful paper and can’t believe that you can add it to your order for FREE when you stock up on items from your wish list!

More One More Year
Recently I shared this card I created using the One More Year stamp set. I was inspired to keep creating and came up with this stepped up version of the card. This time I embossed a piece of Basic White card using the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Berry Burst card. I used two pink patterns of paper from the Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to attach to the embossed Basic White card using dimensionals.
I stamped the cake image from the One More Year stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Berry Burst and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. The image is cut out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached to a Berry Burst circle cut using the largest circle from the same dies.
The image panel is attached across the designer series paper using dimensionals where necessary. I inked “happy birthday” from one of the greetings from the One More Year stamp set using Berry Burst ink and stamped onto Basic White card. I cut out the greeting using one of the banners from the Stylish Shapes Dies. The greeting is attached across the card front using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped another greeting from the One More Year stamp set onto Basic Whtie card using Berry Burst ink. I stamped the starry image one each side of the greeting using Berry Burst ink which has been stamped onto scrap paper first. I love both versions of this card, although I do think the Berry Burst one “pops” just a little more than the Azure Afternoon version. What about you, which one do you like the most?

Grateful
This is the first layout I have completed from the Autumn to Remember Scrapbooking Workshop Kit. This Kit is now a Last Chance product and my be already sold out! I used the pages to show off some photos from our very first visit to Barron Falls just north of Cairns. I didn’t change the basic layout but I did change up a few of the embellishments. These papers lend themselves to our outdoors and the scenery around Barron Falls is amazing.
I changed a couple of the sticker greetings and hand wrote my jounaling on one of the die cuts from the Kit using an Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. I also used one of the “wood” style wreaths and added it to a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Kit, punched using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch. It was a little tricky adding the coloured strips behind the open diagonal die cuts but totally worth the effort. These kits definitely make it easy to start your memory keeping as the hardest part – cutting the designer series paper – is already worked out for you. Leaving you with the fun task of adding your photos and embellishments. I am so glad that Stampin’ Up! has started a whole new Scrapbooking line of products for us to play with.

Seaside Birthday
Today’s card was inspired by a scrapbook page I was working on and I am so happy with the outcome. I embossed Basic White card using the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder. I attached the embossed panel to scored and folded Pool Party card. I die cut Petal Pink card using the seaweed die from the Beauty of the Deep Dies and attached it to the upper left hand side of the card front. I stamped the “sand dollar” image from the Seaside Wishes stamp set onto Basic White card using Pool Party ink.
I cut out the image using the co-ordinating die from the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder and attached it to the card front, overlapping the seaweed slightly. I cut Basic Beige card using the intricate “sand dollar” image using the die from the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder and attached it slightly overlapping the other images on the card front. I stamped “happy birthday” from the Simply Said stamp set onto Basic White card using Pool Party ink. I cut out the greeting using the largest banner die from the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder.
I dipped the two long edges into Pool Party ink and attached the greeting to the card front using dimensionals. To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped “let’s celebrate” from the Simply Said stamp set onto Basic White card using Pool Party ink. I stamped the “sand dollar” image from the Seaside Wishes stamp set partially over the greeting using Pool Party ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I just love this card, don’t you?

Rosey Birthday
Today I am sharing a card I created for a friend for her recent birthday. I embossed Basic White card using the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder before attaching it to scored and folded Berry Burst card. I stamped the large rose image from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto Basic White card using Smokey Slate ink. I coloured the image using Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image using the co-ordinating Stippled Roses Die and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
I stamped the greeting from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto Basic White card using Berry Burst ink. I cut out the greeting using the banner from the Heart Shaped Dies. The greeting is attached across the rose image.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the Unbounded Love stamp set onto Basic White card using Berry Burst ink. I stamped the single rose image from the Stippled Roses stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of the Basic White card using Smokey Slate ink. The image is again coloured using Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. Such a pretty card, don’t you think?

Tungamar
Today’s page showcases some photos from our trip to the Great Ocean Road. Tungamar was our last stop on the Silo Trail from Benalla to Shepparton. Such a lovely little town and the silo art work was amazing. So was the mural painted on the public toilets next to the Tourist Information Office. I used layout one from the Enjoy the Ride Workshop Kit for these pages.
Unfortunately this Workshop Kit is no longer available, however, you can purchase the Cardmaking Kit or just the papers if you wish. I did change things a little bit, I used the banner that was provided in the kit to cut Basic White card. I cut the title from Night of Navy card using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies which I attached across the hand cut banner, which worked better with my pages. I also replaced one of the photos with a journaling panel. I used a Night of Navy Stampin’ Write Marker to create a frame around the journaling panel as well. It is kind of a busy layout but I think it goes with the wildlife silo art, don’t you?

Butterfly Birthday
This week in my Facebook Live I shared some cards I created using the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. Today I have another card created using this product suite. I used the die to cut the butterfly card base from Thick Basic White card. I stamped two of the images from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set onto the butterfly shape using Calypso Coral ink. I die cut the large butterfly from one of the patterns from the Beautiful Bokeh 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper using the die from the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder and attached it over the stamped butterfly. I die cut the large butterfly body from the same paper using the die from the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder and attached it over the die cut butterfly.
I stamped “happy birthday” from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set onto Basic White card using Calypso Coral ink and cut it out using the banner die from the Hybrid Embossing Folder. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached a piece of the same pattern paper from the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper. I die cut another of the large butterflies from the card base from Thick Basic White card and attached it to the Designer Series Paper so that it was hidden behind the butterfly on the front of the card. This will give me somewhere to write a message. The layout for this card was CASED from page 38 of the January to April Mini Catalogue. I think I am going to have fun using this fabulous product suite in the future. I hope I have inspired you to take a look.

One More Year
This is a stand alone stamp set from the January to April Mini Catalogue. It has fun images and sayings and today I have my first card using this set to share with you. I attached two strips of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to Basic White card. I attached the panel to scored and folded Azure Afternoon card. I die cut a circle from Azure Afternoon card using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
I die cut Basic White card using the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I stamped the cake image from the One More Year stamp set onto the Basic White circle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Azure Afternoon & Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.
The stamped circle is attached to the centre of the Azure Afternoon circle. I inked “happy birthday” from one of the greeting stamps in the One More Year stamp set using Azure Afternoon ink and stamped onto Basic White card. I used one of the banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut out the greeting before attaching it to the card front using dimensionals where necessary. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped another greeting from the One More Year stamp set onto Basic White card using Azure Afternoon ink. I stamped the small “starry” image on either side of the greeting using the same ink which I stamped onto scrap paper first. I know that this is going to be a fun stamp set to create with. I hope I have inspired you to take another look at this stamp set.

Anzac Day
Today’s page celebrates some photos from our Anzac Day celebrations way back in 2010. I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper from the A Little Bit Festive 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper using the 1, 2, 3 layout from my first class. This pattern on the opposite side of this paper is very similar so I also cut a piece of Night of Navy 12″ x 12″ card using the same layout. This gave me enough paper to create two double page layouts, one of which I am sharing today. I embossed one 3-1/2″ x 12″ piece and two 1/2″ x 12″ of the Night of Navy card using the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I attached each of the 1/2″ x 12″ embossed strips of card across the bottom of two pieces of Basic White 12″ x 12″ card. I attached a 3-1/2″ x 12″ piece of Designer Series Paper above the Night of Navy card. I cut the 3-1/2″ x 12″ piece of embossed Night of Navy card at 7″ and attached the 7″ piece to the left page and the 5″ piece to the right page above the Designer Series Paper.
I cut one 1/2″ x 12″ strip of Designer Series Paper at 7″ and attached each of the narrow strips above the embossed Night of Navy panels. Some of my photos are attached to Basic White card and some to Night of Navy card before attaching them to the page. I printed my journaling onto Basic White card and stamped the image from the now retired Painted Poppies stamp set across the top. I used a Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend to colour the image. I cut the title from Night of Navy card using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies and attached it across both pages.I stamped three flowers using the images from the Painted Poppies stamp set onto Basic White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the flowers using the Real Red Stampin’ Blends before cutting them out using the co-ordinating Painted Labels Dies (retired). I also stamped and coloured three single leaves and two multi-leaf images from the Painted Poppies stamp set onto Basic White card. I coloured the leaf images using Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The single leaves are cut out using the co-ordinating Painted Labels Die. The multi-leaf images were fussy cut. I attached the flowers and leaves beside the title on the right hand page. The smaller flower is on dimensionals. I stamped the large greeting from the Autumn to Remember stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink. I cut out the image using one of the Nested Essential Dies. I stamped “a day to remember” from the retired Project Life Remember This stamp set onto Basic White card using Night of Navy ink and used the banner from the Iconic Imagery Dies to cut it out.
I love how this page turned out and love using the 1, 2, 3 Layouts by Noreen Smith (the creative and organised Mom).
