A birthday cupcake

July 4, 2011

I followed the sketch at Stamping 411 this week to create this card.

I used Daffodil Delight as my base cardstock and added a layer of Whisper White which is embossed using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I stamped the cupcake images from the Create a Cupcake stampset in Pacific Point and Tempting Turquose onto Whisper White card and punched them out using the Build A Cupcake punch.  I inked the cherry using my Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Stamping Write Markers and punched it out using the Build A Cupcake punch.  I added the cupcake images to a piece of Whisper White card and stamped the “happy birthday” from the same stampset at the very bottom of the Whisper White card using Pacific Point ink.  I attached the image panel to a layer of Old Olive card and attached it to the card front.  I punched one edge of a strip of Rich Razzleberry card using the Scallop Trim Punch and attached it using dimensionals over the image panel.  I added 3 of the Pacific Point buttons from the promotional gift bundle as a final touch.

Can you tell I am loving the colours in the Brights collection?

Bye for now, Kris.
