A Blue Christmas
Here is another card I made for the challenge at Sunny Challenges and Creations this week. I’m finding it quite fascinating to see the many different cards that are being created each week.
This time I cut two rectangle panels of Whisper White and embossed them using the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I attached them to a piece of Night of Navy card. I punched a strip of Whisper White card using the new Lace Ribbon Border Punch and attached it to the bottom of the Night of Navy card. I attached this piece to a folded Whisper White card. I stamped the tree image from the Season of Joy stampset onto a Whisper White oval using Night of Navy ink and then sponged the edges using the same ink (this is the largest oval which can be cut using the Ovals Originals Die). I attached the image panel to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped “merry” from the Pennant Parade stampset onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink and punched it out using the Jewellery Tag Medium punch. I attached it to a 1″ circle of Night of Navy card and then added it to the centre of one of the doily shapes in the punched border. I also added a small Basic Rhinestone to the tag and a medium one to the tree.

Isn’t this Ribbon Border gorgeous. It’s sure to be featured many times on my creations over the coming months.

You can see the Basic Rhinestone I added to the tree image in this close up.
I love Navy and White Christmas cards! What about you? Why not make your creation using your favourite Christmas colours and pop on over to Sunny Challenges and Creations and add it to Mr. Linky.
Bye for now, Kris.

Kris, this is gorgeous – I love the breakaway from traditional Christmas colours.
