Hooray for Today

June 29, 2014

020I have had a little time to break out some new product and some of the new in-colours.  I used the sketch from this weeks Technostamper Challenge to bring the product together.

I embossed a piece of Blackberry Bliss card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Whisper White card.  I added a piece of designer paper from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack to the left hand side of the embossed card.  I stamped the greeting from the Geometrical stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink, attached it to Hello Honey card and then the card front.  021I stamped the images from the Six Sided Sampler stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink, punched them out with the Hexagon Punch and then attached them to the card front using dimensionals.  I added a strip of Basic Rhinestones below the greeting not just to add some bling but because I found a small smudge of ink and needed to cover it.  No such thing as a mistake, just a creative opportunity!

022Inside the card I attached a strip of the same designer series paper to Blackberry Bliss card which has one edge punched with the Scallop Border Punch.  Very simple.

This card uses two of the exciting new in-colours which will be released with the New Catalogue on Tuesday.  I don’t know about you but I can’t wait to get my hands on some of the gorgeous new product in this catty!  Because I have used lots of new product I can’t add a direct link in the Product Used section.  You will have to search a little yourself after the 1st July.

Bye for now,

Kris

What a great card. The six sided sampler was a great choice for this layout. I am loving these new colors. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week Kris.
