Hooray for Project Life
Here is a project I cased to show that the Project Life Cards can be used for things other than pocket scrapbooking – how about making a card. This card was inspired by one that I found by Patty Bennett on Pinterest. I changed a few things but love the idea.
I rounded the corners of the Everyday Adventure Pocket Card using the Project Life Corner Punch and attached it to the card front. I stamped the greeting from the Geometrical stamp set onto the centre of the pocket card using Bermuda Breeze ink. I stamped the triangle images from the same stamp set onto Whisper White card using Bermuda Bay, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry ink and punched them out using the matching Triangle Punch. I attached them to the left hand corner using dimensionals. I punched the flowers from Bermuda Breeze, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry card using the punch from the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.
I attached the flowers to the card front and added small Basic Rhinestones to the centre. I also added one slightly larger Basic Rhinestone to the Strawberry Slush triangle.
Inside the card, I stamped triangles using the same inks, punched them out and attached them to a strip of Whisper White card which I trimmed the card to fit inside the card. I punched one long edge of a strip of Pumpkin Pie card using the Scallop Border Punch and attached the triangle strip to the centre before attaching the whole piece to the inside of the card.
This is a simple card but I love that using the Pocket Card was a quick way to add a greeting without having to create additional mats. Thanks Patty for the inspiration.
So again I hope that you are seeing these Pocket Cards will be a wonderful addition to your Craft Room in many different ways.
Bye for now,
Kris
