Blooms and Wishes

May 4, 2017

I had the Blooms and Bliss Designer Series paper on my desk for a project which I will share a little later so I decided to create another card.  I used lots of the “blue” toned designer series paper, cut to varying sizes and attached to Sahara Sand card.  The Sahara Sand card is attached to Whisper White card and then scored and folded Sahara Sand card.  I stamped the flower from the Butterfly Basics stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it using Rich Razzleberry, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut the flower using an oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and attached it to a Sahara Sand scalloped oval cut with the same dies.  The image panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals.

To decorate the inside I attached a narrow strip of Sahara Sand card behind one long edge of a piece of Blooms and Bliss Designer Series Paper before attaching to the bottom of Whisper White card.

This card lets the paper do the talking.  The flower is simply coloured and I love how the papers look busy but not overwhelming.

What do you think?

I am slowly getting through my stash of designer series paper, I hope you are enjoying my journey.

Bye for now,

Kris
