66 Years
Today’s page features a photo of my Mum and Dad celebrating their 66th Wedding Anniversary. I am so lucky to still have them in my life. My page is inspired by the one on page 35 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. I cut two triangles from the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper using one of the Stitched Triangles Dies.
I stamped the largest triangle image from The Right Triangle stamp set twice onto Whisper White card using Bumblebee ink and twice onto Whisper White card using Just Jade ink. I cut the striped images out using a smaller triangle from the Stitched Triangles Dies. I stamped the small dotted background image from The Right Triangle stamp set across a 12″ x 12″ Whisper White page using Bumblebee ink. I attached the die cut triangles onto the Whisper White page, layering some of them. I attached my photo to Basic Black card and then the card front. I cut the title using my brand new Playful Alphabet Dies. The die set includes letters and numbers – Yay! I hand wrote where the photo was taken and the date using the now retired Journaling Pens.
The actual layout is one that I had pinned to my Pinterest account but the layout in the catalogue was the inspiration for purchasing the stamp set and dies and for searching out templates using triangles. I really think I am going to love using The Right Triangle stamp set and the Stitched Triangles Dies.
Bye for now,
Kris
