Seasons Greetings
Today’s card is a CASE of one by Jo Anne Hewins that I found on Pinterest. I didn’t have the Designer Series Paper that Jo Anne used so I changed it up a little. I attached a piece of Merry Merlot card to the centre of Mossy Meadow card before embossing using the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder. I attached the embossed panel to Whisper White card and then scored and folded Merry Merlot card. I stamped the flower pot from the Beauty & Joy stamp set using Crumb cake card. I stamped the stem image from the same stamp set using Early Espresso ink. I stamped the greenery image using Mossy Meadow ink.
I cut out the image using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies and attached it to the card front using dimensionals. I added some Red Rhinestones to simulate baubles on a Christmas Tree and also a bow tied from 1/4″ Copper Trim. I did fray the ends of the ribbon just a little.
I stamped “Seasons Greeting” from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Merry Merlot ink and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I attached the greeting over the image oval using dimensionals on the outside of the label only. To decorate the inside of the card I stamped the greeting from the Beauty & Joy stamp set onto Whisper White card using Merry Merlot ink. I also stamped the tree image onto the lower right hand corner using Crumb Cake, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow ink. This time I used the image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set to add some baubles using Merry Merlot ink.
So thanks very much to Jo Anne for sharing her beautiful card. I’d love to hear what you think.
Bye for now,
Kris

Cheers
Today’s card uses the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue. This is a really fun set and I am sure will be very popular. I cut Real Red card using the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die and attached it to the left hand side of Whisper White card. The Whisper White card is attached to scored and folded Real Red card. I embossed Silver Foil card using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to the right hand side of the card front, partially covering the Real Red card. I cut Whisper White card using the next smallest Stitched Rectangle Die and attached it to the card front. I stamped the glass image from the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink.
I stamped the glass fill image using Daffodil Delight ink and cut them out using the co-ordinating Sip and Celebrate Dies. The glasses are attached to the Whisper White stitched rectangle.
I stamped “cheers” from the Sip Sip Hooray stamp set onto Real Red card using Versamark ink. I sprinkled the image with White Embossing Powder and heat set it. The greeting is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside, I stamped “Raise Your Glass” and “to the New Year” onto Whisper White card using Real Red ink. Both of these greetings come from the Cheers to That stamp set.
This card makes me happy, what about you? Do you like it?
Bye for now,

More Night Before Christmas (Memories and More)
This is not a Memory Keeping page but my projects do use Memory Keeping Products. Last week I shared a Memory Keeping page I created using the Night Before Christmas Memories and More cards. I explained to you that there were 6 sets of 9 cards in this pack and I used some of one set on the page. I wanted to use the rest of the set, so I created some quick and easy cards.
The first card uses one of the 6″ x 4″ cards attached to one of the Night Before Christmas Memories and More Cards and Envelopes. I cut “tis the season” from Silver Glimmer Paper using the Jolly Season Die and attached it to the card. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached die cut leaves from the Memories and More Card Pack.
For the next card, I attached a 4″ x 3″ Memories and More card to one of the co-ordinating cards and envelopes. I attached the deer from the sticker sheet. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached another of the die cuts.
The third card also uses a 4″ x 3″ Memories and More card which is attached to one of the co-ordinating Night Before Christmas cards . I tied a tow in a length of Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon and attached it to the card front using a Mini Glue Dot. To decorate the inside I attached a die cut banner from the sticker sheet.
For the next card, I attached three of the 4″ x 3″ Memories and More cards to Whisper White card. I wrapped the bottom of the Whisper White card using the Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon and attached it to one of the Night Before Christmas Memories and More Cards. I tied a bow in the same ribbon and attached it using a Mini Glue Dot. To decorate the inside of the card, I attached the candy cane die cuts from the Sticker Sheet.
For the last card, I embossed Mossy Meadow card using the Hammered Metal 3D embossing folder and attached it to Whisper White card. I wrapped the top of the embossed card using the Gold 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon and tied a knot. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Poppy Parade card. I cut Whisper White card three times using one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and attached the die cuts to Poppy Parade card. I attached a “stamp” die cut from the Sticker Sheet to each of the panels before attaching to the card front. The greeting is another die cut from the sticker sheet. To decorate the inside of this card, I stamped the greeting from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set onto Whisper White card using Poppy Parade ink.
There were a few stickers left on the sheet, so I cut three strips of Whisper Whtie card, punched one short end using the Scalloped Tag Punch and attached the tag and star die cuts.
So there you have it. I used all nine of the cards in one set from the Night Before Christmas Memories and More Card Pack and four cards from the co-ordinating Night Before Christmas Memories and More Cards and Envelopes. I still have 5 sets of cards to use.
I’d love to hear what you think.

Belated Father’s Day
Some of you will know that my husband and I have been away for about one month in our caravan. We travelled to Karumba on the Gulf of Carpenteria and then across the Savannah Way to Ravenshoe and down to the coast and slowly made our way home. We had a great time, but it is heartbreaking to see how dry it is out west. I truly cannot comprehend the determination and just plain “grit” our farmers and country dwellers have to continue to live and work in such trying circumstances. Hopefully they will be rewarded with rain this summer! Anyway, while I was away we celebrated Father’s Day here in Australia so today I am sharing the card I made for my Dad when I got home. The card evolved from an idea I had and although not entirely what I envisioned, I am totally happy with the outcome.
I cut the second largest oval in the Layering Ovals Dies from Whisper White card and used it as a mask for another piece of Whisper White card. I sponged Balmy Blue ink across the bottom of the oval and Pool Party ink across the top. I attached the sponged Whisper White card to Night of Navy card and then Whisper White card. I stamped the lighthouse from the Sailing Home stamp set onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink and cut it out using the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Dies. I attached the lighthouse to the lower right hand corner of the sponged Whisper White card. I stamped the small sailing ship from the Sailing Home stamp set onto Whisper White card and cut it out using the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Die.
Before I attached the sailing ship to the card front, I stamped the sea birds onto the sponged area using Night of Navy card. I attached a piece of Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker’s Twine across the Whisper White card below the sponged panel. The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Night of Navy card. I stamped “Worlds Best Father” from the Itty Bitty Greetings onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy card and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I attached the greeting to a label cut from Night of Navy card using a die from the Lakeside Dies. The greeting is attached to the card front below the Baker’s Twine.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the Stitched All Around stamp set onto Whisper White card using Night of Navy ink.
So belated Happy Father’s Day to my Dad and to all the Fathers out there.

Inside Concertina Card
Today’s fancy fold is called an Inside Concertina Card and my instructions came from a tutorial I purchased from the fabulous Elizabeth Shannon. Her tutorials are all easy to follow and she has a video link for each one. A fabulous resource and one that my customers are loving to share. I stamped the flower stem from the Daisy Lane stamp set onto Whisper White card using Pretty Peacock ink. I stamped the large single leaf over the top using the same ink but stamping off once first. I stamped the flowers from the Daisy Lane stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card and cut them out. I attached two of the flowers flat to the Whisper White card and one using dimensionals.
I stamped “happy mother’s day” from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card and punched it out using the Classic Label Punch. I punched one end of the label using the Triple Banner Punch and attached it to a piece of Seaside Spray card also punched using the Triple Banner Punch. The greeting is attached to the top left hand corner of the stamped Whisper White card. I attached the stamped panel to Seaside Spray card.
I cut my card base from Thick Whisper White card and attached a length of Seaside Spray Scalloped Ribbon Trim around it before attaching the stamped panel to the base.
I cut the concertina panel from Seaside Spray card and scored it according to Elizabeth’s instructions. I embossed the left hand panel using the Layering Leaves 3D Embossing Folder. I attached narrow strips of Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Colour Designer Series Paper to the front of the concertina panels. I also attached a piece of Whisper White card to the right hand panel of the card so that I would have somewhere to write a message.
The panel is attached to the inside of the card using adhesive on the outside panels only. I stamped the flower from the Daisy Lane stamp set onto Whisper White card using Rococo Rose ink and cut them out using a circle from the Layering Circles Dies. I attached the flowers to a scalloped circle cut from Rococo Rose card using the same dies. One flower panel is attached to each of the concertina panels on the inside of the card. Make sure that you only add adhesive behind half of the flower panels or you will glue your card shut permanently.
I am pretty happy with this fancy fold and cannot wait until my “big” order from the new Holiday Catalogue arrives, to start playing with this design.
Bye for now,
Kris

Celebrate the Season
The card I am sharing today was inspired by one I saw on a Demonstrator only Facebook page by Jenny Carter. She said she was inspired by one she saw on the same site by Pamela Shrake. Of course my version is slightly different to both versions but I thank both of them for the inspiration. I embossed Cherry Cobbler card using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Basic Black card. I coloured the flowers on a piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper using the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend.
I cut Gold Foil card using the Rectangle Frame from the Heirloom Frames Dies and embossed the frame using the co-ordinating Heirloom Frames 3D Embossing Folder. I attached the Designer Series Paper behind the rectangle frame before attaching to the card front. I stamped the greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set onto Whisper White card using Cherry Cobbler ink.
I cut out the greeting using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and attached it to the card front below the frame.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped the greeting from the Merry Christmas To All stamp set onto Whisper White card using Cherry Cobbler ink.
This card is so pretty. The Gold Foil and Cherry Cobbler is a gorgeous combination and the addition of the Basic Black card just sets it off, don’t you think?

For a Friend
I needed to make a birthday card for a friend of mine and decided to use one of the sketch ideas that I had saved to Pinterest (don’t you just love it). Anyway I cut a piece of Rococo Rose card using the border die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies. I attached it behind a piece of Rococo Rose 2019-2021 In-colour Designer Series Paper. I stamped the stem image from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto Whisper White card using Granny Apple Green ink. I stamped three small flowers onto the stem using Rococo Rose ink. I cut out the image using one of the ovals from the Layering Oval Dies. The image is attached to a Rococo Rose oval cut using the same dies.
The panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped three flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Flirty Flamingo ink. I stamped another of the flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Petal Pink ink.
I stamped the centre of the Petal Pink flowers using Early Espresso ink. I cut out the flowers using the co-ordinating Bouquet Bunch Dies. I attached the flowers to the stem image, some using dimensionals. Lastly I added Basic Rhinestones to the centre of each of the flowers.
To decorate the inside of the card, I cut Rococo Rose card using the border die from the Be Mine Stitched Dies and attached it behind one long edge of a narrow strip of the In-Colour Designer Series Paper. The panel is attached to the bottom of Whisper White card. I stamped the greeting from the Band Together stamp set onto the Whisper White card using Rococo Rose ink.
Pretty isn’t it. I hope my friend enjoys receiving it.
Bye for now,
Kris

Night Before Christmas Memories & More
I don’t know if you noticed in the Holiday Catalogue or not but the Night Before Christmas product suite includes Memories and More cards. These cards are a bit different from our other Memories and More Cards in that it contains 6 each of 9 different designs and 6 sticker sheets. This makes them very versatile for the holiday season. My scrap page today shares a photo of my Dad with his mother and sister as well as my youngest sister. It’s not the happiest Christmas photo I’ve ever seen, but its nice to see my Dad with his family.
I embossed Cherry Cobbler card and Mossy Meadow card using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder and attached them to a Whisper White 12″ x 12″ page. I tucked one of the 6″ x 4″ Memories and More cards underneath the edges of the embossed card strips. I also tucked two little presents that I had left over from another project behind the right hand edge of the Mossy Meadow card. The images are from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set and coloured using Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I attached the photo to another of the 6″ x 4″ Memories and More Cards and attached it to the page.
I cut the Christmas Tree image from one of the 3″ x 4″ Memories and More cards and attached it below the photo. I stamped the Santa image from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set onto Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I coloured the image using Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Old Olive and Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends. I cut out the image using the co-ordinating Jolly Season Dies and attached it to the page. I cut “Tis the Season” from Cherry Cobbler card using the die from the Jolly Season Dies. I created my journaling on the computer, printed it onto Whisper White card and cut it into strips before attaching to the page.
I like the way this page turned out and I am very happy to be using the Night Before Christmas Memories and More cards on my layout. They make it so easy.

Kris

Wonderful Christmas
I have already shared a card with you that I created using the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley and this is another one. This card is loosely based on one of the examples shared on page 39 of the Holiday Catalogue. I embossed a piece of Old Olive card using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. I attached a narrow strip of the striped Gold Foil card from the Medley to the left hand edge of the embossed card. The panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Whisper White card. I cut Whisper White card using 5th largest die from the Rectangle Stitched Dies. I stamped the greeting from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set using Real Red ink. I stamped the tree image from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set using Old Olive ink onto Shimmery White card.
I used an Aqua Painter to move the ink around to colour the image. I cut out the tree using the co-ordinating Most Wonderful Time Die and attached it to the stamped rectangle. I wrapped a length of the Tinsel Trim from the Medley around the rectangle before attaching to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I decided to cut a circle from a scrap piece of card using the 4th largest circle from the Layering Circle Dies. I attached the scrap card to Thick Whisper White using repositional glue and sponged Old Olive ink inside the circle. I also stamped the small tree from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set using Old Olive ink before I removed the mask.
I love how this card turned out but, to be honest, it bears little resemblence to the card in the catalogue, however, it did inspire me to create.
Have you checked out this medley yet, if not, maybe you should.
Bye for now,
Kris

Central Panel Pop Up Birthday
I wanted to create a card for a special friend who recently celebrated her birthday. I had a couple of card bases left over from a recent class where we created this card I shared with you recently. The card base is cut from Thick Whisper White card and I have decorated the panels with Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper attached to Blackberry Bliss card. I stamped the large and small flower from the Floral Essence stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink. I also stamped the flower centre for the small flower using Crushed Curry ink before cutting out both flowers. I stamped two sets of leaves onto Whisper White card using Old Olive ink and punched them out using the Leaf Punch. I attached the small flower to the centre of the large flower using dimensionals.
I attached the leaves to the back of the large flower before attaching to a circle of Whisper White card cut using the Layering Circle Dies. I cut a scalloped circle from Blackberry Bliss using the same dies and attached the Whisper White circle to the centre. The image panel is attached to the central pop-up, making sure that no glue extends beyond the score line. I stamped the birthday greeting from the Floral Essence stamp set onto scrap Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink. I cut out the greeting using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I attached the greeting to a Blackberry Bliss piece of card cut using the same dies and then to the inside of the card using dimensionals.
I have attached a piece of Whisper White card, matted with Blackberry Bliss card to the back panel so that I can write a message.
I love the colours in this card and who doesn’t love this gorgeous Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.
Bye for now,
Kris
