Colourful Christmas
When I was creating cards for my July class, I was a little stumped about how to use the snowflake images. Since we don’t get much snow in winter, especially in Queensland, I didn’t want to make a “winter” card, so I decided to use the images to create a Christmas card. I cut out a couple each of the larger snowflakes and more of the smaller snowlakes from Whisper White card using the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. I attached the snowflakes to the right hand side of Whisper White card using the Fine Tip Glue. I like this glue because it dries clear and isn’t so noticeable if your glue runs a little. 
I attached a piece of the Berry Burst Colour Theory Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of the Whisper White card before attaching to scored and folded Berry Burst card. I stamped “Merry Christmas” from the Star of Light stamp set onto Whisper White card using Berry Burst ink.
I stamped a couple of the snowflake images from the Colourful Seasons stamp set around the greeting. The greeting is cut out using one of the circles from the Layering Circles Dies and attached to a scalloped circle cut from Berry Burst card using the same dies. The greeting panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I simply stamped the greeting from the Star of Light stamp set using Berry Burst ink.
I am so happy to have created something a little different with this stamp set. I love the look of the Whisper White images attached to the Whisper White card, so much dimension and yet not too busy. Don’t you think?

Polished Stone – Card 3
This is the last card I created whilst re-aquainting myself with this fabulous technique. This time I applied three blue shades to my cotton ball – 3 drops of Soft Sky, 3 drops of Marina Mist and 2 drops of Pacific Point. Once more this has created a beautiful focal piece for my card. The Glossy White card is attached to scored and folded Thick A4 Whisper White card. I punched one large and one small balloon from Whisper White card using the Balloon Bouquet Punch. I also punched one large balloon from Pacific Point card.
I added Whisper White Solid Bakers Twine to the back of each of the balloons and attached them to the card front, the large Pacific Point and small Whisper White balloon are attached using dimensionals. I stamped “let’s celebrate” from the Confetti Celebrations stamp set onto Whisper White card using Pacific Point ink and cut it out using an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. 
I cut a scalloped oval from Pacific Point card using the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. The greeting is attached to the scalloped oval and the card front using dimensionals. I also used a dimensional to anchor the ends of the balloon strings behind the greeting.
To decorate the inside of the card, I stamped, “time to Party” from the Confetti Celebrations stamp set using Pacific Point ink.
This card is destined to be part of an upcoming class at Beachmere where I will demonstrate the wonderful ways you can use this gorgeous Glossy White card.

Take 2 – Polished Stone
While I had out supplies to create the previous card I shared, I decided to use a different set of re-inkers to create another card. This time I applied 3 drops of Powder Pink re-inker, 3 drops of Pink Pirouette and 2 drops of Melon Mambo ink. I love how the Melon Mambo re-inker created a lovely pop of strong colour amongst the other muted pinks. The Glossy White card is attached to scored and folded Thick Whisper White A4 card. 
I cut the large flourish from Whisper White card using the Flourish Thinlit Dies and attached it to the Glossy card. I stamped “congratulations” from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set onto Whisper White card and cut it out using an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. I cut a scalloped oval from Melon Mambo card using the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. 
The greeting is attached to the scalloped oval and then the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I simply stamped the large flourish from the Flourishing Phrases stampset onto the lower left hand corner using Melon Mambo ink.
These colours are oh so pretty together. I am sure there are a million colour combinations that would look fantastic. I have one more sample I created which I will share with you soon.

Polished Stone
More playing around with Glossy card today using the Polished Stone technique. For this technique you need some Isocol (rubbing alcohol) which is available in most supermarkets in Australia. It is a fairly large bottle and goes a long way for this technique. You also need a cotton ball. I poured some Isocol onto the cotton ball and then added 3 drops of Pear Pizzazz re-inker, 3 drops of Wild Wasabi re-inker and also 3 drops of Old Olive re-inker. The cotton ball is then dabbed all over the Glossy White card. You need to let is dry before you do anything with the panel. 
Once it has dried you will see how the inks have spread into one another and created a beautiful pattern. The Glossy White card is attached to scored and folded Thick A4 Whisper White card. I cut leaves from Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White card using the Flourish Thinlit Dies. I attached the leaves to the card front. I stamped “with sympathy” from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set onto Whisper White card and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. 
I cut a scalloped oval from Pear Pizzazz card using the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. The greeting is attached to the scalloped oval and then the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I cut another leaf from Pear Pizzazz card using the Flourish Thinlit Dies and attached it to the lower left hand corner.
I love how this technique creates such a beautiful background that you don’t have to add a lot to the card to embellish it and make it look special. I’d love to know what you think.

A ride in the park
This card is one that I created for last week’s class at Beachmere. When I was looking for designer series paper to add to the card, I found a big bag of retired papers and I really have no idea what pack this paper is from but it was just what I wanted. I attached the (mystery) Designer Series Paper to the left hand side of Whisper White card. I stamped the greeting from the Work of Art stamp onto the lower right hand corner of the card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The Whisper White card is attached to scored and folded Basic Black card. I cut Whisper White card using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies and stamped the car from Guy Greetings using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. 
I cut a mask from a post-it-note and attached it over the stamped card. I inked the trees from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set using Lemon Lime Twist and added a bit of depth of colour by thumping the trees with the Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Marker. I stamped the image from the Work of Art stamp set using Sahara Sand ink to represent the road. 
I removed the mask and attached the stamped panel to a Sahara Sand scalloped square also cut using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies. The panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside of the card, I punched a narrow strip of Sahara Sand card using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, attached it behind one long edge of the same (mystery) Designer Series Paper I used on the front of the card before attaching to the bottom of Whisper White card.
Male cards are not easy for me to make, I think it is because I get caught up in all the gorgeous flowers and “girly” things in the catalogue. Anyway, I think it turned out great and so did the ladies at class. What do you think?

Card 3 – One Sheet Wonder
This is the last card i created with my One Sheet Wonder template using the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. I punched a narrow strip of Old Olive card using the Decorative Ribbon Border punch. The punched border is attached behind one long edge of the Designer Series Paper, this time using the small scallop edge and not the decorative edge. I attached the panel to the left hand edge of Whisper White card. The greeting from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set is stamped onto the lower right hand corner of the Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The Whisper White card is attached to scored and folded Night of Navy card. I punched three daisies from Night of Navy card using the Daisy Punch and sponged the edges of the petals using Night of Navy ink. The daisies are attached on top of each other using Glue Dots and making sure to stagger the petals. 
Three 3/4″ scalloped circles (retired punch) are punched from Daffodil Delight card. I cut between the scallops to create petals and sponged the edges using Daffodil Delight ink. The Daffodil Delight scalloped circles are attached on top of each other using Glue Dots before attaching to the centre of the daisy. The daisy is attached to the card front using Glue Dots, making sure to centre the daisy on the edge of the designer series paper. The solid leaf is stamped onto Whisper White card three times using Old Olive ink which has been stamped off once. The outline leaf is stamped over the solid leaf using Old Olive ink. 
I cut out the leaves and attached them to the right hand side of the card front around the daisy. The finishing touch to the daisy is a large Clear Glimmer Dot.
To decorate the inside of the card I punched a narrow strip of Old Olive card using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and attached it behind one long edge of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper panel to the bottom of Whisper White card before attaching to the inside of the card.
This time I reversed the Designer Series paper to use the side with the gorgeous daisy images. I love both sides of this paper and cannot choose between them. What about you, which is your favourite side of this piece of Designer Series Paper?

Take 2 – One Sheet Wonders
This is the second card I made using the 6″ x 6″ One Sheet Wonder template. For this card, I punched a long narrow piece of Daffodil Delight card using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and attached a piece behind each long edge of the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper is attached to Whisper White card. I stamped “thank you” from the Daisy Delight stamp set onto the lower right hand corner of the Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. 
The Whisper White card is attached to scored and folded Night of Navy card. Onto another piece of Whisper White card I stamped various images from the Daisy Delight stamp set using Old Olive, Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight and Crumb Cake ink. The stamped card is cut using the largest circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I cut a scalloped oval from Night of Navy card using the largest scalloped circle in the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I attached the stamped circle to the scalloped circle die and then the card front using dimensionals.
To decorate the inside I used the very narrow piece of Designer Series Paper which was left over from the 6″ x 6″ piece once I had cut it according to the template, which I attached across the bottom of Whisper White card. I attached the Whisper White panel to the inside of the card.
Another card I am very happy with using these gorgeous co-ordinating products. What do you think? Which card do you like the best? I’d love to hear.

Daisy Delight One Sheet Wonder
I found three different one sheet wonders using a 6″ x 6″ piece of designer series paper quite some time ago on Pinterest. Today I had a play using one of the cutting templates and the Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper. This is the first card I created. I stamped “thank you” from the Daisy Delight stamp set onto the lower right hand corner of Whisper White card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I punched a narrow strip of Daffodil Delight card using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch. I attached the punched Daffodil Delight card behind one long edge of the Daisy Designer Series paper and attached it to the top of the stamped Whisper White card. The stamped card is attached to scored and folded Night of Navy card. I punched three daisies from Daffodil Delight card using the Daisy Punch. 
I sponged the petals of the card using Daffodil Delight ink and then layered the three daisies one on top of the other, attaching them with Glue Dots and making sure to stagger the petals. I punched Basic Black card three times using the retired 3/4″ scallop circle punch. Each of the scalloped circles is cut between the scallops towards the centre, creating small petals. I used a bone folder to add some dimension to the circles and then attached them to one another using Glue Dots. The daisy is attached to the card front using Glue Dots and a large Clear Glimmer Dot is attached to the centre.
To decorate the inside of the card, I punched a narrow piece of Daffodil Delight card using the Decorative Ribbon Border punch and attached the punched card behind one long edge of a piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper. The Designer Series Paper is attached to the bottom of Whisper White card. The whole panel is attached to the inside of the card.
I really love this Designer Series Paper, especially the way it has a faded look to some of the designs, including the one I used on this card. What do you think? Do you like it. This card is destined for a customer who ordered using my Hostess Code recently.
