Techno Vivid Vases
Once again I find my inspiration coming from the sketch challenge at MaryJo’s Technostamper Blog. This weeks sketch is super simple and lets you challenge your imagination.

I embossed Whisper White card using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Smoky Slate card. I cut one long edge of Smoky Slate card using the Finishing Touches Edgelit and attached it behind Cherry Cobbler card which I embossed using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. The whole piece is attached to the left hand edge of the card front.
I stamped three of the vases from the Vivid Vases stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White card and cut out the image using one of the Circle Framelits Dies. I coloured the vases and flowers using Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blendibilities before attaching it to the lower right hand corner of the card front using dimensionals.
Inside the card I kept it pretty simple. I embossed Cherry Cobbler card using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached a strip of Smoky Slate cut using the Finishing Touches Edgelit. This piece is attached to lower edge of Whisper White card before attaching to the inside of the card base.
I think this card is so gorgeous and I know just the person I am sending this to. I’d love to hear what you think.
Bye for now,
Kris

Technostamper Challenge 326
I needed to make another card for an upcoming class and the sketch challenge at MaryJo’s Technostamper blog inspired me to make this card.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Zig Zag Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Basic Gray card. I embossed Hello Honey card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to the centre of the Whisper White card. I punched one long edge of Lost Lagoon card using the Spiral Border Punch and attached it to the card front. I cut Blackberry Bliss card using the smallest Deco Label Framelit and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
I cut three ties from three different designs in the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack using the tie from the Baby’s First Framelit Dies and attached them to the Deco Label Framelit.
I stamped the greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it using the Word Window Punch. I attached the greeting to a Blackberry Bliss Modern Label and then the card front.
I added a punch strip of Lost Lagoon card to Whisper White card which I used to decorate the inside of my card.
Thanks to this sketch I am now ready for my card class. I really would love to hear what you think of my card.
Bye for now,
Kris

Freshly Made Sketches 148
The sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week gave me the opportunity to show off a stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue which will be released on the 1st September. I love that I get to “play” with these items a whole month before the catalogue is released. Just one of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.
Anyway this is my creation. I attached a piece of Early Expresso Polka Dot Designer Series paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack to scored and folded Whisper White card. I stamped the tree images from the Festival of Trees stamp set onto Whisper White card using Garden Green ink.
I stamped the baubles onto one of the trees using Cherry Cobbler ink and the tinsel onto the solid tree using Early Expresso ink. I was able to do this quickly and easily because this is a photopolymer stamp set, therefore, I can easily see where to place the images. I punched the trees out using the matching Tree Punch.
The stamp set and punch can be purchased as a bundle so you get to save money and have a fabulous stamp set and punch at your disposal to create as many Christmas cards as you desire. I stamped the greeting onto the Whisper White card using Early Expresso ink before attaching the trees to the panel. The tree with the baubles is attached using dimensionals. The image panel is attached to Cherry Cobbler card and then the card front using dimensionals.
Want another surprise, well the greeting comes from a stamp set called Good Greetings and this is going to be a special release for Hostesses. I’m not sure of the dates yet, so keep watching, but you will really want this set, it has 19 greetings covering just about every occasion you can think of and I think the font is just gorgeous.
Soooooo, I hope you enjoy this card and that it has made you excited to see the new Holiday Catalogue.
Bye for now,
Kris

In This Together
Today I am sharing with you another card I made for my New Catalogue Launch. This card uses the really fun set In This Together. This stamp set has three fantastic images of some really special ladies which are just perfect for colouring with the Blendibilities range of markers.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Coastal Cabana. I added a strip of Polka Dot Designer Series Paper from the Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack. I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then the fun began.
To colour the image I used a range of Blendibilities including – Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry Cherry Cobbler and the Skin Tone Collection. I love how fantastic she looks. Once coloured I attached the image panel to Coastal Cabana card and then the card front using dimensionals.
Inside the card I added a little more Designer Series Paper and Coastal Cabana Card. The words are stamped in Coastal Cabana ink and come from the Feels Good stamp set.
The combination of these two stamp sets works well, don’t you think?
I really hope you are enjoying seeing how great the Blendibilities markers are. I am getting kind of addicted to them and love the blending and shading that I can create without even thinking. Having the dark, medium and light colours lets my colouring look so gorgeous – I think I even stayed within the lines!.

Old Photos – New Style
Here is a scrapbook page I made using a Project Life Pocket Page and the Happiness is Cards and Accessory Pack. I also used the Project Life Remember This Photopolymer stamp set and Blackberry Bliss ink.
These are photos that my husband found in his mother’s things recently of our daughter Sarah with her cousins at Mum and Dad’s house in Moree. For some reason Mum had cut the photos down from 4″ x 6″, probably to fit in a special frame she had, so I used the Project Life Cards and Labels Framelits to make the photos 3″ x 4″.
The one in the top left pocket I cut to about 3″ x 3″. I really do love this very simple style of scrapbooking. There is no way that I would have made a page of these photos without the Stampin’ Up! Project Life products.
I hope you have had a chance to play with this style of scrapbooking. I’d love to hear what you think.

More from the Catalogue Launch
I can’t believe how much I am enjoying using the Blendibilities and the Hostess stamp set Bloom in Hope. The flower images are perfect for colouring with the Blendilibities.
For this card I stamped the flower onto Whisper White card using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured the image using the Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight Blendibilities. I love how much dimension even I can get with these pens. I attached the image panel to Daffodil Delight card. I stamped thinking of you from the Embellished Events stamp set onto Whisper White card and punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch.
I attached the greeting to the back of the image panel.
I embossed Coastal Cabana card using the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Coastal Cabana card.
The image panel is attached to the card front using dimensionals.
Inside I stamped another image from the Bloom with Hope stamp set onto the bottom left hand corner of Whisper White cad using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and again coloured using the Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight as well as Old Olive Blendibilities.
I hope that you are being inspired to give Blendibilites a try. I know that the ladies at my launch were very impressed with the markers and the gorgeous effect they were able to achieve.
Let me know how you are finding these gorgeous alcohol markers.

Freshly Made Sketch 146
I liked the look of the sketch challenge at Freshly Made this week and thought I would give it a try. I stamped the “starburst” image from Kinda Eclectic onto Whisper White card using Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the “dotted” image from the same stamp set over the bottom of the “starburst” using Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the leaf from Kinda Eclectic onto scrap Whisper White card using Pear Pizzazz ink, cut it out and attached it over the stamped images.
I stamped Birthday Wishes from the Four You stamp set onto Whisper White card using Strawberry Slush ink, atttached it to Strawberry Slush card and then the card front. I stamped the butterfly onto scrap Whisper White card using Strawberry Slush ink, punched it using the Elegant Butterfly Punch and attached it to the card front.
I added a couple of Basic Pearls to the centre of the butterfly. The whole piece is attached to scored and folded Pear Pizzazz card.
Inside the card I stamped the “starburst” image onto the lower left hand corner of Whisper White card using Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the dotted image over the top using Crumb Cake ink and added a butterfly stamped in Strawberry Slush ink and punched using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
I think this stamp set worked really well with the sketch, what do you think?

Happy Anniversary
My Aunty and Uncle are celebrating their 40th Wedding Anniversary today and I thought I would share the card I made for them.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Cherry Cobbler card. I attached a strip of Whisper White card to Old Olive card and then to the card front. I cut Whisper White card using one of the Hearts Framelits Dies, embossed it using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to the card front. I stamped a flower from the Flower Shop stamp set and two from the Petite Petals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White card. I coloured the flowers using the Cherry Cobbler Blendibilities.
I stamped the leaf image from the Bloom With Hope stamp set onto Whisper White card twice using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, coloured them using the Old Olive Blendibilities and cut them out. I punched the flowers out using the Pansy Punch and the Petite Petals Punch, added some dimension and layered one small flower onto the large flower. I arranged the flowers and leaves on the left side of the embossed heart.
I added two Basic Rhinestones which I coloured using the darkest marker from Daffodil Delight Blendibilities. I cut the numbers from Cherry Cobbler card using the Timeless Type Alphabet Dies (retired) and attached them to the top right hand corner of the embossed heart. I printed the word “years” using the Timeless Type Junior Letters and Numbers Punch Digital Download on my home computer and punched it out using the Word Window Punch. I attached it to a Cherry Cobbler Modern Label and then the card front, cutting the right hand edge to match the edge of the Whisper White card.
Inside I stamped the leaves using the Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured them using the Old Olive Blendibilities. I stamped another flower from the Flower Shop stamp set and coloured it using the Cherry Cobbler and Daffodil Delight Blendibilities. I cut the flower out and attached it over the leaves.
I hope that my Aunty and Uncle love this card as much as I do.
Bye for now,
Kris

You’re a Star
I made this card for my Catalogue Launch to show off the beautiful new Decorative Masks that we have in the new catalogue. They come in sets of two masks for the low price of $4.95 and are 8″ square. One set has hearts and stars and the other has dots and stripes.
For my card I masked Whisper White card with the Stars Decorative Mask and sponged Smoky Slate ink over the top. When I was finished I ran my mask under the tap to remove any remaining ink and wiped it dry.
I stamped the greeting from the Pictogram Punches stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink. I stamped the star image from the same stamp set onto Whisper White card three times using Tangerine Tango and punched them out using the Star Punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. I attached one of the stars over the star in the greeting and the other two to fill in a little blank space left below the greeting.
I attached the Whisper White card to Tangerine Tango card and then to scored and folded Bermuda Bay card.
Inside I used the Stars Decorative Mask and Smoky Slate ink to decorate a strip of Whisper White card. I attached a narrow piece of Tangerine Tango card to the top, added it to the bottom of more Whisper White card and then to the inside of the card.
This was a really quick and simple card to make but I think that it packs a lot of punch. I’d really love to hear what you think.
Bye for now,
Kris
