Updated
I have finally updated my For Sale page. You can find pictures and a complete list of all the retired items I have reluctantly decided to part with. The price does not include postage and handling but please email me so that I can give you a final cost. Remember I can only sell my retired items to those of you who live in Australia.
I have also updated my Classes and Workshop page, so check it out if you want to attend. If you live too far away, then contact me and organise a kit with full instructions to be sent your way.
Bye for now,
Kris
Cheerful Christmas Card
Here I am again sharing something from the Holiday Catalogue. I must have Christmas or celebrations on the brain, although it is hard not to with all the gorgeous Christmas goodies in this fantastic catalogue. Anyway, I created this card to be part of my September Class.
I embossed Very Vanilla card using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Early Expresso card. I attached a strip of the very gorgeous Under the Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper to a strip of Early Expresso card and then the card front.
I punched two tags from Crumb Cake card using the Note Tag Punch and embossed them using the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I attached the tags to the card front so that they were sitting just under the top of the designer series paper. I stamped the background tag image from the Cheerful Tags stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Crumb Cake ink. I stamped the tree border stamp across the bottom of the tag using Garden Green ink.
I stamped merry, three times using Early Expresso ink above the tree border. I punched the tag using the Note Tag Punch and attached it to the card front using dimensionals. I tied a knot in a length of Early Express 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon and attached it to the top of the tag using a Glue Dot.
Inside the card I stamped the row of trees across Very Vanilla card using Garden Green ink. I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set using Cherry Cobbler ink.
I think this is such a fun set and of course would make the most adorable set of Christmas Tags but that will be a project for another day.
Bye for now,
Kris

Wondrous Wreath
Here is another card for my September Class using stamp sets from the Holiday Catalogue. This is my first creation using the Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies.
I stamped Crumb Cake card with the Hardwood Background stamp using Crumb Cake ink and sponged the edges of the card using the same ink. I attached the stamped card to scored and folded Crumb Cake card. I cut four pieces of Crumb Cake card to represent panels on a door which I stamped with the same stamp and ink.
I sponged the edges with Crumb Cake ink before attaching the panels to the card front using dimensionals. You have to stamp three images one on top of the other to create the wreath. I stamped the first image onto Very Vanilla card using Wild Wasabi ink, the second image using Garden Green ink and the third image using Cherry Cobbler.
I managed to line up the first two images perfectly but I think my berries are a little off! To make it easier to line them up you have a little tab on each image, so, if you place the tab in the same position you can line them up fairly easily. There are two Framelits to cut out the wreath, one for the outside and one for the inside. Each of these framelits also has the tab so that you can position them correctly. Next I stamped the bow image from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Cherry Cobbler ink. This image also has a matching framelit in the Wonderful Wreath Framelits Dies. I attached the bow to the wreath.
Inside I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set onto Very Vanilla card using Cherry Cobbler ink.
I think that it looks like a wreath hanging on the front door, well at least I hope it does. Have I got it right?
Only one day and you too can try out this stamp set and matching framelits, which, by the way, is a bundle in the Holiday Catalogue. Woohoo!
Bye for now,
Kris

Technostamper Challenge 328
I am getting ready for next month’s class which is going to be all Christmas Cards and I decided to use the Technostamper Challenge for one of the cards.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Cherry Cobbler Card. I punched both long edges of a strip of Cherry Cobbler card using the Scallop Edge Border Punch, wrapped it with Whisper White 5/8″ Satin Ribbon and attached it to the card front.
I stamped the small tree image from the Project Life Holiday Cheer Photopolymer stamp set three times onto Whisper White card using Garden Green ink. I stamped the greeting from the Endless Wishes stamp set above the trees using Cherry Cobbler ink. The image panel is attached to Garden Green card and then the card front using dimensionals. Lastly I tied a length of Whisper White 5/8″Satin Ribbon in a knot to the left of the image panel.
Inside the card I stamped one of the edge images from the Project Life Holiday Cheer Photopylymer stamp set using Cherry Cobbler ink. I stamped the tree image from the same stamp set using Garden Green ink.
A simple card but I think it is quite stylish. You will love this new Project Life stamp set which is being released on the 28th August (only a few days now). It has lots of images and sayings which make it quite versatile.
I’d really love to hear what you think
Bye for now,

Happy Birthday Lorraine
Yesterday I shared the card set that I made for my husband’s cousin and today I thought I would share her birthday card and the matching box I made to hold the Christmas Cards.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Bermuda Bay card. I stamped Birthday Wishes from the Four You stamp set onto Whisper White card, which has a “v” cut in one end. I attached the greeting to Calypso Coral card and added a strip of Mossy Meadow card which has been punched using the Scallop Edge Border Punch. I cut a circle from Whisper White and another one from Mossy Meadow using the Circles Framelits Dies and attached them to each other and the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the flower from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set onto Whisper White card using Bermuda Bay ink and cut it out. The solid flower was stamped off once onto scrap paper to create the dimension. I stamped the leaves from the Stippled Blossoms stamp set three times onto Whisper White card using Mossy Meadow ink and cut them out. I attached the leaves and the flower to the Whisper White circle and added small pearls to the centre of the flower.
Inside the card I stamped the flower, covered it with a mask before stamping the leaves over the top. Simple but so pretty.
I made my box using the Envelope Punch Board and decorated it to match the card, although I didn’t add a greeting this time. I love the way they look together and so did Lorraine.

Bright & Beautiful Cards
My husband’s cousin is celebrating her birthday today and we are joining her for dinner. I thought that I would make something small to give to her, so I created a set of four Christmas Cards using the Bright and Beautiful stamp set. This set can be purchased as a bundle with the Stars Framelit Dies as part of the Big Shot and Bundles promotion till the end of this month.
I used four different colours for my cards – Real Red, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. I cut a star shape into Whisper White card using the Stars Framelits Dies and stamped the greeting from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set beneath the cut out using ink to match the card. The star cut out card is attached to the card front using dimensionals. I stamped the middle sized star from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set onto Whisper White card using the matching ink and cut it out using the matching Star Framelit Die. The stamped star is attached to the card front inside the large star frame. I added a large Basic Rhinestone to the centre of the stamped star.
Inside the card I stamped the greeting from the same stamp set using the matching ink.
I am really happy with these cards, this might be one we make in my upcoming Christmas Card Class. What do you think, would you like to make this card.
Bye for now,
Kris

A quick post
Life has still been a little hectic, so I haven’t posted as often as I would like. However, today I have a really quick share of 4″ x 3″ Whisper White pocket card I made for Project Life.
I had some squares of paper from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack left over from a Make and Take and thought I would used them. I punched the squares using the Banner Punch and attached them across the top of the card. I punched Blackberry Bliss card using the Cupcake Builder Punch and attached them between the banners. I trimmed the end banners to match the edge of the card. I stamped the “celebration” from the Project Life Remember This photopolymer stamp set across the bottom of the card using Blackberry Bliss ink. I haven’t rounded the corners yet, in case I want them square when I use it on my page.
This just might be a great way to use up my left over card kits, what do you think?
Bye for now,
Kris

Techno Vivid Vases
Once again I find my inspiration coming from the sketch challenge at MaryJo’s Technostamper Blog. This weeks sketch is super simple and lets you challenge your imagination.

I embossed Whisper White card using the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Smoky Slate card. I cut one long edge of Smoky Slate card using the Finishing Touches Edgelit and attached it behind Cherry Cobbler card which I embossed using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. The whole piece is attached to the left hand edge of the card front.
I stamped three of the vases from the Vivid Vases stamp using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Whisper White card and cut out the image using one of the Circle Framelits Dies. I coloured the vases and flowers using Smoky Slate, Cherry Cobbler, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blendibilities before attaching it to the lower right hand corner of the card front using dimensionals.
Inside the card I kept it pretty simple. I embossed Cherry Cobbler card using the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder and attached a strip of Smoky Slate cut using the Finishing Touches Edgelit. This piece is attached to lower edge of Whisper White card before attaching to the inside of the card base.
I think this card is so gorgeous and I know just the person I am sending this to. I’d love to hear what you think.
Bye for now,
Kris

Technostamper Challenge 326
I needed to make another card for an upcoming class and the sketch challenge at MaryJo’s Technostamper blog inspired me to make this card.
I embossed Whisper White card using the Zig Zag Embossing Folder and attached it to scored and folded Basic Gray card. I embossed Hello Honey card using the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and attached it to the centre of the Whisper White card. I punched one long edge of Lost Lagoon card using the Spiral Border Punch and attached it to the card front. I cut Blackberry Bliss card using the smallest Deco Label Framelit and attached it to the card front using dimensionals.
I cut three ties from three different designs in the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stack using the tie from the Baby’s First Framelit Dies and attached them to the Deco Label Framelit.
I stamped the greeting from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set onto Whisper White card using Blackberry Bliss ink and punched it using the Word Window Punch. I attached the greeting to a Blackberry Bliss Modern Label and then the card front.
I added a punch strip of Lost Lagoon card to Whisper White card which I used to decorate the inside of my card.
Thanks to this sketch I am now ready for my card class. I really would love to hear what you think of my card.
Bye for now,
Kris
