A Christmas card!!

June 15, 2011

I am trying to get some designs ready for a Christmas Stamp-A-Stack and the sketch challenge at Technostamper just seemed to work really well.

I started with a base of Cherry Cobbler and added a layer of Very Vanilla card which has been embossed using the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder.  I added a piece of Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper over the bottom section of the card which I sponged using Cherry Cobbler ink.  Next I cut a Cherry Cobbler scallop circle using the largest scallop circle on the Scallop Circle #2 die.  I cut a Very Vanilla Circle approximately 3″ round and stamped three of the decorations from the Tree Trimmings stampset using Cherry Cobbler ink.  I also stamped Very Merry from the Short and Sweet stampset inking with my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Marker so that I could stamp the words individually.

Pretty simple but one that can be reproduced fairly easily.  This one might make the Stamp-A-Stack.

Bye for now, Kris.

Awesome, although I am NOT ready to think about Christmas yet, lol! Love that paper with those ornaments. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch challenge this week! Great job.

Love this for a stamp-a-stack but will add the greeting without markering for my group. TFS
