Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild Challenge Challenge 89

February 20, 2017

This weeks sketch challenge at Stampin’ Gals Gone Wild is super inspiring.  So inspiring I actually made three cards using the sketch.  The card I am sharing today uses a stamp set I haven’t had out in a while – No Bones About it.  I stamped the solid image of the Dinosaur onto Whisper White card using Marina Mist ink and stamped the bone image over the top using Night of Navy ink.  I stamped the vine images from the No Bones About It stamp set in the top right hand corner using Wild Wasabi ink.  I did stamp a couple of images without re-inking to create a little depth.  I stamped the dotted image, from the same stamp set, below the dinosaur using Early Espresso ink.  I wrapped the Whisper White card with Linen Thread and tied a knot.  011I stamped a row of footprints, you guessed it, from the No Bones About It stamp set below the Linen Thread using Early Espresso ink.  I attached the stamped panel to Marina Mist card which I embossed using the Boho Chic Embossing Folder.  The whole panel is attached to scored and folded Thick Whisper White A4 card.  012I stamped the greeting from the No Bones About It stamp set onto Whisper White card and cut it out using a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies.  The image is attached to a Night of Navy scalloped circle cut using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies before being attached to the card front using dimensionals.  Inside the card I stamped another dinosaur image using the Marina Mist and Night of Navy inks.  I also added some footprints using Early Espresso ink.

It’s kind of fun to pull out stamps you haven’t played with in a while, don’t you think?  Anyway, I’d love to hear what you think.

Bye for now,

Kris
